Causes of back pain


There are lot of things that can happen back pain. This is depending the nature of work a person doing and daily activities. In most situations it can be curable with regular exercises and stretches. If the pain is severe, better to consult an orthopedic specialist.

Do regular exercise for back. Swimming(especially backstroke) and walking help to reduce back pain and strengthen your muscles.
  • Always bend the hip and knee, not your back
  • When you lift or carrying something keep the object close to your body
  • Avoid sling bags to carry heavy objects, use a rucksack to carry such heavy loads
  • Maintaining a good posture will always help to keep good health and be in a good position while sitting on a chair or watching TV etc.
  • Quit smoking. It's thought that smoking reduces the blood supply to the discs between the vertebrae, and this may lead to these discs degenerating.
  • Loose excess weight.
